The Killarney Museum, located on 29 Commissioner Street was built in 1982 by local men and Katimavik, a federal non-profit youth organization. The log structure houses various artifacts depicting many of Killarney's significant eras. The artifacts reflect the lifestyles of the people as Killarney evolved
from its beginnings as an aboriginal settlement and voyageur trading
station, to a vibrant fishing and logging community and now to the present Killarney, a popular tourist destination and small mining village.
